Here’s how you can place your order with Vyne

Are you not quite sure how to place your order with Vyne? Don’t worry, we made placing your order super simple! And to make it even easier, we thought we’d create a step-by-step guide for you that will guide you through the process. So, let’s dive in!

If you haven’t got an account yet & are ordering for yourself

If you haven’t got a Vyne account yet, the first thing you’ll need to do is register with us. You can do this by simply following this link. Don’t worry, it’s really super easy! First off, we’ll ask you if you’re ordering for someone else. Since you’re placing the order for yourself, you can click no.

Are you ordering for someone else

In your next step, you can add all the medication and appliances you need to your order. To do that, simply type the name of the item you’re looking for into the search field, choose the correct one, and click add item. A little window will open, where you can let us know how many packs of each item you need, when you need it by, and if you need any customisation. If this is a repeat prescription, you can tick the little box that says “Repeat this order” and let us know in what intervals you’ll need this item. Once you’re happy with it, press Save in the bottom right-hand corner to add the item to your prescription.



Next up, we’ll ask for some details from you! Let us know your first and last name, and your email address or phone number (or both!). Whichever you prefer! Then click the button in the bottom right-hand corner and let us know which GP surgery you’re registered with. To do so, simply type in the postcode of your practice and choose it on the map. If you can’t find it on the map, you can open a list of surgeries by clicking on the sentence underneath the map. Choose your surgery from the list, and once you’re happy, click the button in the bottom right-hand corner.



In this last step, we’ll ask for a little more information about you like your NHS Number, date of birth, and whether you’re exempt from paying for your prescriptions or not. Don’t worry if you don’t know your NHS Number, you’ll still be able to register just fine. We’ll also ask for your billing and delivery address – if those two are the same, you can simply click the “My shipping information is the same as my billing information” checkbox and you won’t have to enter it again. As a last step, set your password, check the boxes for our terms and conditions, and click confirm and submit. And, voila, you have just placed your very first order with Vyne. Feels good, doesn’t it?

If you haven’t got an account yet & are ordering for someone else

If the person you’re ordering on behalf of hasn’t got a Vyne account yet, the first thing you’ll need to do is register with us. You can do this by following this link. Don’t worry, it’s really easy! First off, we’ll ask you if you’re ordering on behalf of someone else. Since you are placing the order for someone else, you can click yes and let us know whether you’re a healthcare professional, working in a care home, or if you’re a private carer.

Are you ordering for someone else

We’ll ask you to register yourself first, then register your patient or the person you’re caring for. So, in this first step, we’ll ask you for details about yourself like your name, email address, and job title. When you’ve filled this form out, you can press register. In the next step, you can add all the medication and appliances your patient needs to your order. To do that, type the name of the item you’re looking for into the search field choose the correct one, and click add item. A little window will open underneath the search bar, and you can let us know how many packs of each item the person you’re ordering for needs, when they need it by, and if it needs customising in any way. If this is a repeat order, you can simply tick the little checkbox and let us know in which intervals this item will be needed. Once you’re happy with everything, press Save in the bottom right-hand corner to add the item to the order. Then click the green button at the bottom right to get to the next step.



In this next step, we’ll ask for some details about the person you’re placing the order for like their name, email address, and phone number. Don’t worry if they don’t have an email address, a phone number is more than enough. When you’re happy with the details provided, click the green button in the bottom right-hand corner to get to the next step. Here, please let us know which GP surgery the person you’re ordering for is registered with. To do this, simply type the postcode of the practice into the search field and choose it on the map. If you can’t find it on the map, you can simply open a list of surgeries by clicking on the little sentence underneath the map (the one with the green box around on the screenshot below!). Choose the correct surgery from the list, and once you’re happy, click the green button in the bottom right-hand corner again.



In this last step, we’ll ask for a little more information about the person you’re ordering for like their NHS Number, date of birth, and whether they’re exempt from paying for their prescriptions or not. Don’t worry if you don’t know their NHS Number, you’ll still be able to register them without. We’ll also ask for their billing and shipping address. If those two are the same, simply click the “Their shipping information is the same as their billing information” checkbox and you won’t have to enter the address a second time round. Then check the boxes for our terms and conditions and click “Confirm & Submit” and you’re all done. Congrats, you’ve just placed your first order with Vyne. Told you, super easy!

If you want to place a new order and you already have an account

If you already have a Vyne account and want to place a new order, start by logging in to your account. This will bring you to your dashboard. If you scroll down a little bit, you’ll see a handy green box to the right-hand side of the webpage that says, “Start a new NHS Prescription”.



Click this box, search for the items you need in the search field, choose the correct one, and click add item. A little window will open underneath your search bar where you can let us know how many packs of each item you need, when you need it by, and if it needs to be customised in any way. If this is a repeat prescription, check the little checkbox and let us know how often you’ll need this item. Once you’re happy with everything, press Save in the bottom right-hand corner to add the item to the order.



Then click your way through the checkout all the way to the end. If you’re not exempt from paying for your prescriptions, you’ll be taken to our very secure online payment gateway where you can enter your card details to pay for your prescription. You might be used to paying after you receive your prescription. With our new way of handling payments online, you’ll pay before. Don’t worry, though, we won’t take the money from your account until we can fulfil your prescription!

If you want to reorder

If it’s time for you to stock up, simply log in to you Vyne account which will bring you to your dashboard. To reorder, click on NHS Prescriptions under Orders in the left-hand menu in your account. There you can see all your current, pending, and received orders. To reorder, look for the order that you need again, and hit the reorder button. Follow all the steps through the checkout and, voila, you’re done. Yes, it’s really as easy as that!
